Believe the other reviews, this kiteboarding school is awesome! Came to Cabarete with my brother-in-law to learn to kiteboard in 5 days and our instructors, Jeison and Moreno, had us both shredding by the end of the week. I went from complete beginner to riding upwind, transitioning, and even getting some small jumps in thanks to Jeison's expertise! The cafe at the school has great food/drinks and the best seating area on kite beach. The owner, Tracy, is really nice and responsive/helpful for those heading to Cabarete for the first time. Hoping to make it back soon!

This is hands down the best place for anyone wanting to learn how to kite surf for the first time or improve upon current level. They have taught our teenage son kite surfing for 3 spring breaks- from beginner to now a pretty dang good for a once a year kite surfer!

We couldn’t be happier. Although son does speak Spanish I do not and every person we dealt with was able to speak English well. Everyone here was super attentive, honest, kind and experienced. Also there are some ridiculously accomplished instructors.

10/10 recommend. Perfect kiteboarding conditions everyday I was there. The hotel was great with beautiful ocean views and balcony as well. Food was fresh and spectacular at the cafe on the beach, and there were many other great spots along the beach to try as well. Tracy and her team were incredibly kind, accommodating, and made every detail of planning seamless. The beach is beautiful and the kiteboarding was amazing. Highly recommend staying at Agaualina and taking lessons at Kite Point. Hope to come back soon.

A World Famous Destination for Kiters

Kite Beach in Cabarete, Dominican Republic is one of the most consistent places in the world for year-round kitesurfing in the Dominican Republic. We have flat water on the inside, which is perfect for beginners and advanced riders alike. On the outside we have beautiful, glassy waves breaking on the reef about 200m offshore. The waves are generally between 1/2m to 2m depending on the time of year.

Kite Beach is the best beach for learning since the shore break is tiny compared to Cabarete Bay and Bozo Beach. Thanks to our dreamy conditions, Cabarete has a very high concentration of talented local freestyle riders and has produced many kiteboarding stars, such as Ariel Corniel, Luciano Gonzales, Posito Martinez, Robinson Hilario, Luis Cruz, Alex Soto, and Joselito Del Rosario.
